Having said that, for most it would be silly to exercise the options in the near future if you consider the share price of AVL (and hence AVLO) will likely continue to rise through the next 6 to 12 months. Much stronger prices would increase demand and provide any funds required for options to be exercised. Liquidity might still be an issue, I know my AVLO won't be for sale any time soon, if ever.
Having said that, there is an arbitrage being set up at the moment for smart buyers as well. This might play out very well for astute cashed up investors and current AVLO holders who recognise this opportunity.
