Well Arasor (ARR) has released their ann, it states they have a laser "based" tv with their soild state laser conductor & partnered with Mitsubishi. The tech is still only going to replace the existing light source in the tv's of today LCD, DLP, etc.
***(ARR only has a light source ie. solid state laser conductors, the tv's will become energy efficient and all the other benefits of laser will be gained. But it still is based on a weaker technology LCD, DLP etc which have much slower switching speeds than the tech panorama has, Lets not forget panorama has a " light engine" far superior than LCD and DLP etc.)
But all those customers out there won't know the difference, they will still all snap up a "LASER" TV as thats what they will be told they are buying.
I hope the ann's for SYN are more to the point of where this tech is going in the short term, because it needs to get there ASAP.
