Yellowfin Tuna don't school the way that SBT do, they catch Yellowfin on longline.
Also, the hatchery technology for Yellowfin is established so there is nothing new there, might even save them except that the farm gate sale price for Yellowfin is circa $20/kg ergo you are not likely to make any profit if you are feeding them food that is costing $1.20 or more per kilo (fish pellets tha can cost up to $3,000 per tonne!)
What a misguided joke, talk about shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic, and I have little doubt that the board will support this ludicrous proposal as they have no concept about fish economics and are are just trying to save their skin with a proposal from a couple of buffoons in the form of the Stehrs!
