Lot of physical copper got moved to US by the traders leading up to the tariff announcement. They will make a loss on those inventories. Meanwhile China will now fill up their stockpiles at these low prices.
Agree with @Ashentegra - If you financial situation allows for it - I will be looking at picking some good quality copper stocks taking advantage of this market mayhem.
I got 2 small parcels of SFR and Capstone today... No guarantees as to if they will hold value tomorrow as there will be high volatility.
