No, although the ATO is aware off all your share trading it is up to you to record all your transactions and add it onto your assessable income. It is a little complex as you may allocate your sale to any parcel you have bought. You may want to confirm this with a tax agent, but if for instance you bought a parcel of say 100,000 shares of AJM in February and then another parcel of AJM of 50,000 in June. Then in September you sold 25,000 AJM, the sale allocation could either be against the February parcel or the June parcel.
