Based on my readings, at the moment, Mega has no assets and, therefore, no value. It is in the process of 'borrowing' assets to justify an IPO Prospectus which, if successful, it will then acquire the borrowed assets. It is a bit like consultants who borrow your watch to tell you the time.

Having read the Demerger document twice, I concluded that both proposed transactions firmly met the definition of a 'pig in a poke'. To be fair, I found the Demerger document lacking in detail and it could be that the outlined Mega solution is in the best interests of SHs but at this stage, who knows?
