It would seem that despite all the threats from the members of the Board to resign, they are in fact holding on for dear life. That would suggest that their previous threats were merely ploys to frighten shareholders to support them.
Now I understand they want to stack the Board to it's maximum limit of ten directors to frustrate the election of the new directors at the EGM on Friday.I also understand they are hoping that by effecting the resignations today and filling the Board, they can prevent the EGM from proceeding on Friday, (on the basis that their is no business to be conducted).
Presumably they are hoping that by the AGM at the end of the month they will have the numbers to ratify their actions.
I wonder if they would try to influence large shareholders by offering them seats on the Board.Surely not.
Seriously, how can they think that this behaviour is acceptable
