hi pete
good points.
my reason for "standing on the sidelines"
if you remember JAK. the SP went nuts while they were drilling because geo leaked that they saw minerals in them samples.
then the samples got to the labs and you can almost backtrack the days when news leaked from that by the depreciating SP. then the results came out, the rest is history.
i agree that you have to be in it to win it, but it also pays to tread carefully. i have lost plenty dashing into things head long.
i have a suspicion that the geos somewhat leaked this one. now we wait for the lab leak. it seems buying is largish and selling been smaller traders (just an assumption). there has been no sell down so all looks good.
keep in mind that this first drilling campaign is only a small branch of the area. approval for the biggie is being sort as we speak.
i still hold my IBG. there are always lots of could have would have should have situations. success comes down to making the right decisions more times than not.
i will buy many RVM shares if there is a trace of leakage. imo this one will move very very fast due to the tight holdings. if it moves down fast tho, i think some in the top20 will "make things happen"
