Price has control of the mothership. He's got a big job to turn it round, for which he will no doubt have incentive arrangements as well as a good salary. Far the easiest thing to do with the hybrids is kick the can down the road.

As for that impacting on the value of PPX, I think it's far too soon, while they remain chronically lossmaking and in tow to the bank, for anything they do on the hybrids to make any difference to the PPX share price.
