As of 12:30 AEST today, windmills and solar were producing around 2000Mhw of power which is just over 15% of the Australian demand for power. How many windmills and solar panels would we need to produce the other 23,000Mwh of power we need, against the number of extra fossil fueled power plants required to do the same job as wind and solar are producing at the present time?
