This article was recently posted discussing renewed Chinese interest in magnetite iron ore.  The Yilgarn region has current magnetite resources of over 17 billion tonnes with many tenements still only partially explored.

This article was also recently published.  While it mentions Mindax, it could be about any of the Yilgarn companies. Mindax have mentioned discussions about regional consolidation to achieve critical mass to make infrastructure solutions more feasible.  Perhaps a Mindax, Legacy/Hawthorn, Jupiter Mines Iron Ore consolidation may be back something that is being looked at?
