Correct...this has all been done by the book and rightly so, the involvement by the German Gov would have made sure of that and I am very confident that all involved will be treated fairly....all (major) issues would have been worked out b4 Environmental Approval, Mining Licence and SKR final engineers report.
All the major hurdles re resettlement, local employment etc have already been negotiated with the appropriate people within the Tanzanian Gov and all relevant Government Approvals are IN PLACE
As stated by other posters the spike in claims just b4 any given mining project seems about to commence is a common problem and I am confident Tanz Gov in conjunction with KNL Management will be able to work out any issue.
In case anyone is wondering why do companies employ so many people long before mine construction starts:
09.11.2015 Appointment of Bob Pett to the KNL Board:
A Minerals Economist, Mr Pett has been involved with listed companies at all levels, from grass-roots exploration through to mine development and production and overseeing the development, operation and financing of over 10 mining projects globally including in East and West Africa as well as the construction of the Golden Pride Gold Mine in Tanzania.
We don't hear much from him, but I'm very confident that he's been very busy and knows a lot of people in the right places in Tanz.
Then 28.01.2016 Appointment of Dr Jaka Mgwabi Mwambi to the Board of the Company’s subsidiary TanzGraphite (TZ) Limited.
Kibaran Chairman, Mr Bob Pett commented:
“As Kibaran enters the development phase of its Epanko Graphite Project in Tanzania, Dr Mwambi’s appointment will allow the Company to integrate more effectively with all stakeholders from Government to community, ensuring the Project is successfully developed.
Dr Mwambi, now retired from Public Service in Tanzania, has had a distinguished career, having served as Vice Chairman of the National Environmental Management Council Board of Directors, Regional Commissioner of four separate Regions within Tanzania, and more recently Tanzania’s Ambassador to Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
We don't hear much from him either, but I'm also very confident that he's been very busy and knows a lot of people in the right places in Tanz.
KNL only 190 mil shares on issue.
