As far as Woolies and Coles go, it comes down to convenience. I'll go wherever is the easiest to get the job done. Not sure if their images change much from state to state or city to country, but where I'm from, I'd guess it's convenience for most.
Maybe Coles need to concentrate on positioning their stores better.
I reckon they're both good bets. I hold both with no intentions to sell.
