For long term holders of BOW we have experienced the roller coaster ride of a fluctuating share price for some time. When csg goes out of favour the sp heads south when a merger or acquisition occurs then the sector gets fired up and the sp heads north. All the while we wonder - when will the inevitable take over occur. Some points to ponder are (1) History has shown through Arrow Energy (even though there were doubters at the time) that quality acreage with significant 2P reserves will attract the attention of the majors and get taken out (2) The csg industry is alive and well with huge dollars about to be spent at Gladstone (3) The QLD govt is committed to and are depending on this industry to succeed (4) Uncontracted gas with a 100% owner and a clean balance sheet makes easy pickings (4) Two major investment banks holding significant stakes are waiting in the wings (5) merger/acquisition activity has commenced again with Santos/ESG (6) a rising share price may be the catalyst to force a major to show their hand - when the SP was 75 cents a few weeks ago then an offer of $1.50 would have seemed reasonable to attract sellers now it would need to be $2.00 or more and so it goes on (5)Consensus positive broker reports with large volumes being traded might be the wake up call that something is happening.
    As always DYOR.
