Have not posted on the forum for awhile because there is no significant news beside the half agreement with Amgen Inc. I will give management some credit for stringing a big fish, but hopefully the line does not break before the big fish is in the hand. Amgen should know what they are doing, after all, they are a successful company and where we could be in time. Either Amgen is seeing a tread to more customized care and device or they are experimenting which such a thought. Yea either way, money have been paid to Unilife for the future outcome yet to be announced. In addition, Amgen cannot be behind the trend too because their competitors are using the Unilife devices. It does not matter if the devices will catch on in the future; you just cannot be behind if it do caught on fire in the future. Just like the apple watch, everybody is making their own version, even if they don't make money from it. You could say the trend is more important than the device themselves and you could not afford to be behind. Drugs development can take somewhere over ten years and paired with Unlife device afterward can take an additional 3-4 years. Now if they already decided to use the Unilife devices before the trail began, then the additional years should not matter as much or at all. Of course, there is a risk using the new devices that have not been to the market yet. Again, new drugs is a risk and new devices is a risk. As the saying goes, you can not make big money without risk. You just have to control the risk, which Unilife management failed to do. Hope is the future, when that all mighty signatures have been stained on paper, Unilife can reset the clock and be prepare for a better tomorrow.
