Personally I find the 10-12 Range can be very boring.
Shares going 10/12 cents with Volume attract Scalpers/Day Traders getting 5% ish on a single tick[.05cents].They diddle around doing their Buys and Sells sometimes 2/3 times in a day.It messes up Volume Analysis [as inaccurate as that is at the best of times]It tricks Market Depth Watchers,and most wannabe even actual Traders of the longer term than a Day.
It can be spotted by Buy #'s being pretty well "instantly" hitting the Ask in the 10/12 Range BUT it's also done Off Screen by the more "professional".
One has to remember that THEY have access to those Brokers where one pays so much a month/day as Fees and 5% on $10/20k is to THEY a "score".
