I have enjoyed reading all the views expressed here in the past two to three years and sharing a thoughts of my own from a UK-based, Africa-focussed perspective.
As others have said its now time to move on although I shall continue to monitor developments at Husab closely, if there is any information released under the Chinese ownership to make that possible!
Namibians are going to find out that if anything goes wrong with Husab they may not be in the loop because companies like CGNPC are really only responsible to the Chinese government (and hence the ruling CCP)and don't have to account to the global investment community as stock exchange listed companies have to.
Well it was their choice to get into bed with the Chinese on Husab and let's hope for the good of that country's people it all works out.
