so what! A lot of the things they make is cheap crap taking the market away from other countries who make good quality and have been around longer than Chinese! They have only last few years started making surfboards and they are terrible, yes cheap, but the good shaper in Australia will make you a better one and lasts longer. So this 5000 years crap means nothing!
