I think foolsandhorses needs to learn some fundamental analysis as well as technical.

I remember the famous story by old Business Finance Lecture told me of an academic in New York who got several student to toss an unbiased coin one at a time. If 'heads' a tick up 'tails' a tick down. In the end he had a graph which he then showed to a friend who was a chartist. The chartist got very excited and said that the stock was a screaming buy, and wanted to know what stock it was because he wanted to buy it. He apparently was a bit upset when he found out the truth.

There is not a chance in hell that this is going to $25. While the volatility continues it may go to the $32-$33 mark. But not that low. Shorting BHP now is not so silly concidering the volitility in the market right now it has risen strongly from its recent low of $31 and some quick profit taking make occur. However $25 is out of the question.
