on the news tonight, James Hardie has to pay something in the area of 4 billion in compensation.
its currently on a PE of 15 and has a market cap of 4.5 billion.
not good, they now have to pay the entire market cap of the company in compensation, first payment being due this month.
No doubt James Hardie will survive through this, but it certainly does not look good for the company over the coming year or two.
