I think when the election date is announced will be the time.
The mkt. hates uncertainty & will probably drift lower then.
And with Latham already starting to indulge in everyones favourite sport "bank bashing ", they could all take a fair pounding in the weeks prior to polling date.
Knowing the actual date will be useful in helping to chose the appropriate call/put to sell/buy.
