re: fromthefuture While I don't agree with the magnitude at which FTF is going on about, I do agree with the trend.
When FTF says "will drop to $18" he is saying "Will move to $27.20.
When he says "will go to $32" he is saying "Will go to $28".
If you are in BHP for the long term then buy at $27 and turn off HC and news and come back in a year. If you are trading the trend then don't ignore FTF and don't ignore short term factors.
Factors to consider:
1) UK interest rates are being decided in an hour
2) Inflation indicators are being released tomm
3) Fed rates are being decided next week
Advice for day traders, get out of your positions and buy in next Wednesday.
Considering the US is one of BHP's biggest buyers, you just can't ignore what is going on in the US.
