The way you market something is everything. yes its a fancy new credit card essentially. But you'd be lieing if you said it feels exactly the same as an ad for a new low rate credit card from a bank.
People are seeing signs for it pop up everywhere. its not limited by a specific financial institution. anyone from any bank will have no reservations about opening a zip account but if you're with commonwealth and you see a card from say anz it just doesnt have the same impact and your very very unlikely to bother signing up with a new bank to get the card.
Also Id say most people that have afterpay already have or will have zip just becuase they've got a taste of credit and are enticed by the zipmoney feature.
