    I just read the article, and I also agree it comes across as BS.

    Where are the observations showing that the world is "actually on track" towards a 4 degree Celsius warmer future??

    The author - an Associate Professor from the University of Melbourne - has fallen into the trap of confusing emissions with outcomes. As we have seen from the recent years' sideways movement of actual global observed temperatures vs. upwards movement based on theoretical projections modelled on CO2 inputs, they're two different things.

    So why should we taxpayers have to put up with any more silly scaremongering dished out by Academics?
