lomborg's views don't really belong on the s/m forum because he is an environmental economist - at least, that's his angle. as such, he doesn't question the science of agw but accepts it as a given.
he prefers to discuss what to do about it - seems sensible to me.
if you agree with him then you too must be moving on from the useless science arguments.
politically, he offers no comfort to abbott but some vindication to gillard's strategies - or rather gillard to lomborg's ideas.
