topsahara, lol, they don't provide housing for the poor, they take housing from the poor! If they sell up, it will increase the supply of houses available for sale which will give others the opportunity to buy. There will be a shift from renters to home owners which I think the poor would be in favour of. Obviously, the actual number of houses in the country can only be increased by building more, releasing more zoned land for building etc
