    BMW now locking up 10 year lithium and cobalt "mine" supply to meet envisaged EV production demands

    So , if BMW are moving this way , what do other major international vehicle companies do !
    And , in that discussion , must inevitably come suitable graphite for the battery anodes ...and car makers won't be going (exclusively at least ) , down the synthetic graphite route ...with 6 times the volume needed for lithium/cobalt , just too expensive !
    You can envisage where some of this "testing "production graphite from Balama from January onwards is headed ...to the likes of BTR China , and /or direct to other major battery manufacturers who supply the EV industry .
    And the more it "ticks the boxes" as suitable for them , the more it will have ticked the same boxes for the Louisiana plant , which , despite the delay in site selection , the Plant is modular and stated to be assembled for production commencement in approx. 3 months .
