What strategy has Murray or Ferrari spelled out? None I can see. And the market does not like the strategy they think AMP is pursuing.
That is why share price going down. So far Murray has inflicted damage on the share price. That is my point.
on what basis do you think Murray who spent his whole life in one company - and failed in wealth management there - and Ferrari are the ones to fix all this? Ferrari has been hyped but there is no proof of relevant success in past or evidence of him having a plan that will grow value at AMP.
There will be more bad news from AMP. There will be more write downs. There is an absence of any strategy so far. I think this means we will not see an effective strategy when it is rolled out. It will be hollow.
