Hmmm... one issue that the appeasers have failed to address is that Saddam is responsible for over a million deaths and accordingly is responsible for crimes against humanity.

Saddam needs to be arrested and taken to the Haig and put on trial by the International Court for these crimes.

These issues are complicated and the 'no war' mob offer no ideas or solutions to what are real issues and threats to humankind and world peace.

The same mob would cry 'blue murder' if one terrorist was not detected and whose actions caused the death of one single innocent. Look at the recriminations against the CIA and NSA in the US post S11.

The way things look now is that Blix has chickened-out on the WMD issue which leaves the UN blushing and coy.

There will be justifiable pressure on the UN to drop the economic sanctions against Iraq and either the UN decides it has sufficient to order the military option or end the sanctions.

The 'more time' option with respect to weapons inspectors is a win for Saddam ... he love games.

Everyone is forgetting that any war has to be paid for by reparations from Iraqi Oil sales.

Those such as France and Russia who had lucrative Oil contracts cancelled due to UN sanctions are blocking the military option. No doubt Saddam has made promises over these in exchange for their votes.

The US have lost any momentum for a war and which could be a foreign policy nightmare.

The US is just about everything everyone has been saying for decades ... but for all the wrong reasons.

Saddam is ahead on points and also for all the wrong reasons.
