I don't know much about Michlemore, but I really do not believe he was at ZFX long enough to judge him on that role. However if one was to, the main thing you'd give him credit for was the brilliant reverse takeover of a great little copper company on the cheap.

As for his WMC role, I seem to recall he wasn't there long before the takeover, and that company had been doing some quite bizzare things long before he arrived from my recollection.

I will however agree entirely with you that OXR management did an appalling job going into the zinc merger, and further I'd say that the arrogance of not giving shareholders a say in the matter is contemptible. Would have been MUCH better to have gotten $1.2 bn (or even $2 bn) from a rights issue if a warchest was what they were after.
