It's my Chilly moment in life as my Dad has too passed away today.

So many conflicting emotions abound atm but primary is to be with the rest of the Family, so like Chilly will be taking a little time out in these
sad times for my Mum and Family.

He had a great innings at 92 and had one of the fullest lives of anyone I've ever known with huge pressures to boot.

There r no more important things in life than supporting the ones u love when they need it most.

I am now feeling Ur pain Chilly. Hoping things r going ok for U and others who have had people close to them pass as its such a major change for all that were a part of our Dad's and their lives.

92 and He had just finished chainsawing some wood out the back of his favourite little holiday place to keep the fire going for my Mum. The beauty and irony of it all was that my Sisters two boys when little, had called him Hot Pa cos he loved a good bonfire with a red wine and a chat as the embers floated off into the night.

He will be sorely missed by all who knew him but also celebrated as he did so much for so many people in his long beautiful life and coped with all the pressures of life so gracefully and he had pressures many will never know with the career path he chose.

I will never know another person like him or ever will. He has imparted to all his children some if the most important basic morals in life, primary of which is to respect all others and make sure that U have pride in all that u do no matter how small the task.

God rest his soul.

He was a proud devout Christian but never pushed his beliefs on his kids or family. It was simply a part of his life later in life, as religion comes to many later in life. But the funny thing is that even when he wasn't a religious Christian he was still one of the most Christian people one could ever know, and I mean that from the aspect of all the better life morals that one can have.

Sorry to be pouring my personal grief on U all and I know there will be many out there for who this will touch similar feelings espc Chilly being so close to Your Dad passing.

My thoughts r with U all too.

Domum i have been where you are 5 long years ago my dad was also 'my hero'. Although he may be gone he will never be forgotten.
