The argument now goes:

Relenza does not work orally.
Injection is not viable.
Most elderly people cannot use the inhaler.
It only works early in the infection.

What a surprise! Most asthmatics cannot use their inhalers wither without intense and supervised training. Ask any GP.

And Relenza is by now means the only inhaled drug. All inhaled drugs suffer from similar problems of drug delivery.


And you are talking about patients coughing and spluttering with flu symptoms.

Anybody else out their want to go in and bat for Relenza now?
