I decided to put this into a separate thread... hope people don't mind.

The excitement starts with the announcement on Dec 31 [which was published at midday, 2 hours before the early close]... market closed for New Year and then the market reaction on 2 Jan. From then on the SP has been in decline.  Looks pretty simple to me... IGE has been a sleepy and struggling stock for months, then comes out with a stunner and it was day traded on the announcement. Day traders might have persevered with it for a few days but, in the wash-up, it is back to the true believers and the newly skinned baggies holding... and... now feeling dudded.

I have been in this stock for months and I have worried about it for most of the time... however, it is not a scam. Maybe the tech will be proven correct and perhaps not... we won't have any facts until Amsterdam fires up. The IGE story makes extravagant claims... we need to see the extravagant proof. [There are so many different organizations which have done their DD on this it would be equally incredible they all have got it wrong]

The chart tells the story.... seen this pattern many times. 2 weeks to wait to see if it is an investment or a tragedy.
