I've been wondering about the announcement (like everyone else), and want to know if the specific timing of its release can raise questions by ASIC? ie, say they put the announcement out at 4.15pm on a weekday: wouldn't ASIC wonder why they waited until the end of trade to do it? They might be suspected of having the report ready earlier that day, and holding it back to give the insiders time to trade the stock.

Is the best time to make an announcement the middle of a day? If so, they can claim that they'd been working on it, and "just finished it now".

But are early morning announcements above suspicion? Just wondering. . .
