My best guess would be that ifr another paty is thinking of a bid they may want to do it before Kingfisher results are known .. so within the next 3-4 weeks. Then again they may want to wait until the explainatory stuff is sent out to shareholders by HDR and the KPMG independent recommendation is out....that may be at a similar time ..around early/mid November.

I was mostly out and prophesised that when I was there would be a takeover move!! I saw it moving up strongly on the Friday and rbought at $1.29 .. sold at $2.08 on the Monday (I bought about 2/3 of what I had previously been holding .. so I'm happy with that but still pi#sed off at Potter's sellout).
