Based on this from the recent HXG announcement: "During the first two weeks of May, the team held numerous meetings with various NT Government departments to:
- brief them on our project (why would hxg need to brief them on the perjerka project if ebony had done so much ground work?)
- understand the approvals pathway and requirements, (why would hxg need to understand the pathway for approvals, if ebony has done so much ground work surely they already know all this stuff?)
- confirm drilling approval requirements, and progress licensing/permitting and lead departments for each component of the project. (Why do they need to understand drilling approval requirements? Surely surely surely ebony would have that at least put to bed??)
One outcome of these meetings was that Hexagon will lodge a proponent initiated environmental impact assessment (EIA) and commence the lodgement of the Mineral Licence Application. These items have been identified as the longest lead items for NT Government approval, however by pursuing the proponent-initiated EIA, we believe approvals are attainable within two years.
If I am reading the above from the announcement correctly ebony have done nothing, it reads to me there are no approvals in place as yet. Even if they were there is no chance, zero, zip, nada of a PFS by Dec 2021 for perjerka. clock is ticking
