Timing

The NOXCOVID Phase I trial is likely to proceed at warp speed.

• Let’s say the first dose is 1200 mg per day – known to be safe.   Cytokine measurement presumably taken every day, so perhaps five days to determine whether 1200 mg NOX66 reduces cytokine levels by a significant amount.
• If a better response is needed, increase the daily dose of NOX66 to say 2400mg.
• If necessary, increase the dose to 3600 mg per day
• Do this in parallel in six hospitals, with say two patients at a time on the same dose, and complete cytokine data for 36 patients could be known within 15 treatment days
• Allow a factor of safety of 100%, so one perhaps one month in all.

I read recently that in the COVID environment, trial results can be released before they go through a peer-review process.  The price action today suggests to me that investors don’t want to be left behind if results are released sooner rather than later.
