2018 International Tin ConferenceBudapest, Hungary Additional speakers announced
The International Tin Association is pleased to announce the addition of key speakers for its upcoming International Tin Conference in April 2018, including representatives from the Intel Corporation and the German Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR).
We are excited to hear from Julian Lageard, Director of the Intel Corporation’s Government & Policy Group for Europe, the Middle East & Asia, who will be presenting on tin user requirements for supply chain standards. Other speakers and panellists for the session on responsible tin supply have been finalised, varying from legislators and industry representatives to traders and downstream companies.
Dr Herwig Marbler, part of the German Mineral Resources Agency at the BGR, has been working with cooperative tin producers in Rondônia, Brazil. He will be sharing the findings of his studies on local tin ore and efforts to implement advanced processing methods in the region.
Interest in the conference is stronger than anticipated, with an exceptionally high number of delegates already confirmed at this stage compared to previous years. With registration still open we anticipate the event will be particularly well attended.
