    I'm not sure why you're calling it punting? As I mentioned earlier I am fairly new to investing and am slowly researching and finding companies that I want to invest in and hold on to. I'm aware that there are brokerage costs which will take away for profits, but over the long term I would be hopeful of a greater return than 6.25% and at this stage I want to start with small amounts.
