As far as I’ve gathered - they have contracts / offtakes with customers (Thailand and Malaysia being key customers for MLX share of production). So they typically don’t sell into spot markets. Their contracts are priced based on the LME price.. whether that’s the cash or 3 month contract is anyone’s guess - should have a good indication this coming quarterly given there’s a $6,000/t backwardation.
