I think you are right. When I first started buying MLX back in November I asked Sprott to have a look at it. The task was passed to an analyst who had a cursory look (they are busy and weren't following it specifically).

The quick reply was that the Scoping Study at Nifty was probably optimistic and would require capital that MLX didn't have and that Renison was old and tired.

Obviously there wasn't much time spent understanding how things were "in process" for MLX. Luckily for me I ignored that view.

The past performance and difficulties that MLX previously had means that analysts, HNW and Funds don't even look under the hood after a quick Quant scan (if that).

As you say, it will probably take a few Quarters of steady performance at Renison and the improvement to the B/S before they take notice ... that'll obviously be at a point where the SP will likely be meaningfully higher, IMO.
