    I'm afraid i can't agree that commodity prices will compensate for flucuations in currency rates esp if swings are substantial. The market does not operate smoothly and accurately. Greenback could halve in a few weeks. Happened to plenty other currencies. Have no faith in Wall Street banks. They caused this mess.
    Yes... supply and demand ultimately determine price. V.pleased MLX hedged some Sn at the top. Wish it had been many more tons. But unless the Sn was hedged in AUD it remains vulnerable to USD collapse.
    Many folk reckon a collapse in the fiat US currency will see a flight to tangibles such as bricks&mortar and commodities. I don't share this view. Feel a currency collapse will introduce a massive slowdown in economies around the globe maybe combined with stagflation.
    I bought MLX coz the mine is def viable at current prices and Tin price has held up far better than other base metals. But am not complacent.
