You have to laugh “IT IS a big temptation to lump all miners into one big bag” then all the mining stocks listed in the article are speculative buys! If there is the smallest element of risk with a mining stock it seems a good get out clause is to put speculative in front of the buy.
Nothing speculative about the world economy picking up or the tin gap and the need for new tin mines to fill it.
Agree though that when a deal is done that “speculative” will likely evaporate.
