Makes me wonder, given that the tin market is so small and “manageable”, why don’t tin miners do their version of OPEC - call it OTEC? Could easily achieve a much higher price for their product and deplete resources at a slower rate. Why let demand side completely dictate volatile pricing when supply side is so constrained with very few meaningful players …
