@Daripper, I thought I would answer your points in this thread. If anyone is interested on the difficulty in producing tin whilst seeking not to contaminate your spodumene production - i.e. on why right now you need two seperate extraction posts.
A while ago - see Post #:
25780599 and a number of posts thereafter - I started a debate here around the fact that current technology does not allow tantulum and tin to be extracted from the same spodumene producing process -i.e. the same ore in the same process - due to the need to keep spodumene at a certain purity and therefore attaining tin/tantulum has been derived from either treating tailings after extracting spodumene from the ore (which obviously is not as cost effective as if could treat it from the same ore) or having different dedicated pits like they do at Greenbushes. I would expect technology to improve to deal with this issue in due course but my point for raising this is whilst AVZ does have tin and tantulum dealing with those is not as easy as some appear to think it is in this forum and other forums where companies encounter this issue.
I do expect they will find solutions for AVZ so that you don't end up having the same problems as Greenbushes where you are essentially producing different minerals from different pits. Something to ponder. Greembushes currently operates different pits - fully dedicated tantulum pits and lithium pits. If AVZ is required to go down this path I suggest they use the area around holes 1, 2 and 7 for spodumene and maybe one of the areas around holes 3 - 6 for tin, i.e. obvioulsy the deposit is huge here so can do that like they did at Greenbushes, but the ideal solution would be to find a solution to the technological challenge (or treat the tailings of spodumene production for tin).
Given the potential value of tin, my own view is whoever mines at Manano it will be most likely a consortium of players and one of those players will specialise in tin as well. See Post #:
