I don't think that you can really compare GIPs performance to the general market, it is too illiquid.
There is no one selling because there is no to sell to. You could not even sell 100000 shares right right now. In all fairness the sell side is light also, I guess what is the point of putting them on to sell, if only to make it look even more lop sided.
To say that GIP is only down a bit on low volume compared to the market is meaningless imo.
