Water...water...water...this old thread is vastly more relevent now due to recent developments.
Thought some of the newer holders might find the below thread "tincom says yes" interesting....especially given the Chinese infrastructure ann today and the Vic Govt opening up the LV for allocation and massive coal dewatering!

I dont know of any tech that can "create water for Melbourne" other than Coldry (with the new TEAM to make it happen)....I reckon Monash are water friendly and if you read their history they are CLOSE to the Vic Govt.
