This is a load of codswallop!
Tindalo was never completed 2 yrs ago (ie, had a 7" production liner run) precisely because of all the lost circulation which they never got under control, despite spending about 6 days trying...that meant they couldn't complete the well for production (as they did with Yakal). I've never heard of anybody trying to do a cement job where they have uncontrolled lost circulation...even a lay person can grasp that situation!
The well was left open hole below the 9-5/8" casing 2 yrs ago because of this condition in the wellbore, and which no doubt contributed to the length of time they took to run the completion earlier this year...although I didn't think it would take as long as it did due to them being aware of the state before they went in.
