i wonder if during the mud losses they lost control of the well and had oil at surface? sounds like a kick. I wonder how they regained control through that unstable section (high porosity?) LCM pill - ? Sounds like interesting drilling by the lads.
It is a good sign that they could continue to drill to TD.
