It does not surprise me that the share price is climbing on the back of better volumes. I am not aware of a better value stock on the ASX. If you forget the positive fundamentals for a moment (which in themselves are quite compelling) and simply look at the fact there has been a conditional takeover offer / expression of interest made on EOC by an unknown party AND a big name like Nathan Tinkler requested 20% of the company at 55c - this seems like a no brainer at these prices.
My theory on my stake in EOC is that there is loosely a sort of a put option at 55c over the next few months so any purchasing under that level has a degree of protection. I am able to benefit from upside on the due drilling results and BFS however the corporate activity should hold the price up at around 55c if they do not set the world on fire since these results. Good times - now lets see some results and the BFS!
